The DOIP VCI is a dedicated hardware interface that connects between your diagnostic computer and the vehicle's OBD port. It translates the vehicle's internal communication protocols (DOIP, CAN, LIN) into a standard format that JLR Pathfinder software can understand. Unlike generic adapters, the VCI is specifically designed for JLR vehicles and includes voltage protection, isolation circuits, and high-speed data transfer.
